Paloose Ranch is a shady part of God’s good earth that serves as a safe haven for horses and their owners. It is a place where the cost of the horse or the social status of the owner doesn’t determine the quality of care and attention each individual receives. As a boarding facility it offers full board with a stall for each horse at least 12′ x 12′ in size and daily (or night-time) turn-out in individual paddocks. The cost of board includes feed and hay, electrolytes, and salt. Rates are determined by the cost of maintaining different horses according to size, breed, consumption of grain, etc.
As a training and teaching facility the ranch offers a round pen, several riding rings, including both small and large dressage arenas and a jump field. The small dressage arena has lights for the evening riders. The location is approximately 5 miles from the Florida Horse Park where there are numerous year-round competitions and is less than 2 miles from Interstate-75 (exit 341). The training and teaching program on this farm has produced a multitude of winning horses (ponies and mules!) and riders in a variety of disciplines.
