The Country Club at Silver Springs Shores features 6,857 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72 with a rating of 73.5 and a slope rating of 133 on grass. It boasts a clubhouse measuring 19,000 sq. ft. with countless amenities available for players, including a large main hall for golf functions and banquets, a full service restaurant/bar, complete locker room facilities and a stocked pro golf shop. With a course designed by longtime Jack Nicklaus associate, Desmond Muirhead, it has hosted many mini tour and US Open Sectional qualifying events, most notably are the Hooters Tour wins by PGA Tour players Zach Johnson and Chad Campbell. Known for having the area’s fastest and most severe greens, the course also offers two distinctly different nines. One is a more traditional parkland course and the other offers a true Florida golf experience with water in play on six holes. Together, they complete a truly challenging experience.
